Go Green with a Charter Bus Rental

A half a century ago, Wisconsin Senator Gaylord Nelson teamed with activist John McConnell to create the first Earth Day, encouraging people to show their love and appreciation of our natural beauty and resources by cleaning up the environment, planting trees or simply reflecting on nature. On and around April 22, 2020, in celebration of the 50th Earth Day, events will take place across the United States. It’s a great time to get a group together and travel to an event. There’s an easy way to join others in showing your love and support of Mother Nature—travel to an Earth Day event on a charter bus from US Coachways. You’ll ride in comfort, safety and convenience and make less of a carbon impact as you travel.

The Many Great Reasons to Travel by Charter Bus

When you’re taking a group to an event, there are countless details, but none more important than how you are going to get there and back. If you have difficulties on the road, it can put a damper on everything. With a charter bus from US Coachways, you’ll have:

  • Reliable transportation—Unlike most other forms of travel, charter buses rarely experience delays or cancellations. Your driver has access to tools to monitor roadway conditions and find alternate routes to avoid delays. In addition, our access to vendors nationwide makes it easier for us to find a replacement coach, if necessary.
  • Unmatched flexibility—You tell us when and where you want to be picked up, when you want to stop, how long you want to stay, what you want to see and when you want to return. No other mode of travel gives you that much control.
  • A comfortable ride—Charter buses offer big seats and the most leg room of any mode of travel. There’s no middle seat, either. The aisles are wide and you can move about at your convenience.
  • A cost-effective way to travel—On a charter bus, you share most of the costs of travel with fellow passengers. That makes charter bus rentals consistently one of the most affordable options for group events.
  • A safe and secure mode of transportation—You’ll have a highly trained and skilled professional behind the wheel. In addition, there’s limited access to your coach, so you won’t have to worry about uninvited guests—you and your personal items will be safe and secure.
  • Less hassle—You won’t have to fight traffic, look for parking, consult the GPS or check the time—your driver will handle all those details. There’s no TSA security checkpoint, so you won’t have to stand in line, take off your shoes or worry about your personal toiletries. You’ll be on the same bus at all times and your luggage will be stowed on your bus—no concerns about missed connections or lost bags. There’s no requirement, either, that you turn off your phone or other devices—you can stay wired at all times.
  • Less risk of getting stuck in traffic—You’ll be able to take advantage of the HOV (high occupancy vehicle) lanes
  • More than just a way to get there and back—Your bus is a great place for a group meeting, to give final instructions or break the ice. You can also use the bus for some quiet time during a busy event.
  • A way to help the environment—Help Mother Earth by taking a number of private vehicles off the roads!

Let US Coachways Help You Find the Right Bus

Choosing a charter bus is the first step toward reliable, safe and affordable ground transportation to and from an Earth Day gathering. It’s just as important to take the time to find the ideal coach for your group and your trip.

At US Coachways, we’ll ask all the right questions—how many people are coming, how far are you traveling, what will you need to bring or take home, and what special amenities may be required. Then we’ll work closely with our nationwide network of hand-picked charter bus service providers to find the coach that’s best for your group.

If you’re going to an Earth Day event with a small-to-medium-sized group, we recommend the mini-bus. It comes in a number of different sizes, seating anywhere from 24 to 35 passengers. For larger groups, the full-sized charter bus is the best fit, with accommodations for as many as 57 and an on-board bathroom. Multiple bus rentals are typically available and we can usually get ADA-compliant coaches.

Most charter buses (other than some of the school buses) have high-back bucket seats, climate control, a great sound system and plenty of storage space. Additional amenities may be available for an extra charge, including Wifi, USB ports and electrical outlets, DVD players and monitors, P.A. systems, hardwood floors and leather seats. Check with your booking agent.
